Frida Khalo project

In my Frido Khalo inspired project I had 8 different symbolism the first symbol I used was blue blue for me represents unity. Next I drew sunflowers they represents my grandparents another symbol I used was also in my sunflower the 6 sun flowers represent how many grandparents I have. The nopal represents Mexico because when I was small whenever I went to vist my grandparents in Mexico everytime I went I seen the same nopal in the same spot healthier than ever. The flowers represent my parents. My parents are starring to be a huge impact in my life. I indeed to cut myself out because my parents were separated for the majority of the time I was small until I got very ill they figured out it would be best if they stayed together. I also did myself black and white because sometime the past affects me. But I did intended to put bright colors because no matter what I will always have my family and no matter what I go through they will always be there for me.

Pop art

Thought making this project I had many positive and negitive out comes.While I was working on this project I used a ruler to make the four squares and I used a stentcel to make all the Mill House even. I ️free drew the inside of Mill Houses face. Some challenges that occurred throught making this protect was trying to make the inside of his face even. Some successes were the colors that were used and paint Mill House. If I could do this project again I would of used different colors and take my time on trying to make all the Mill houses even. Pop art is modern culture art.It was originated in the 1950's Andy Warhol was one of the many pop art artist he made multiple artiwork like Micky mouse, Marilyn Menroo, Michael Jackson, can soup, ect. He  uses bright colors and the opposite color of the color wheel.What I did to show modern pop art was I drew Mill House from the Simpsons and used opposite colors from the colors wheel and repeated the same image.  I made a painting of Mill House with multiple Mill Houses. I used vibrant colors and opposite colors of the color wheel. The success of my painting were showing modern pop art culture by drawing Milhouse even and the color skeme I chose.What I would do different is take more time on making Mill house the same on every drawing and painting neater.

Jess- jamie I really like how you chose to do the four drawings like a thumbnail and you used complementary colors. I'm also wondering why you chose to do this character from the Simpsons?

Xitlalict - jamie your panting is good I like how you use light colors i also like how you made the background light and made the character darker 

Color wheel

I made a color wheel by researching. Some things I look up was what is primary colors, secondary colors, tints, and shades. I went throw the prosses of making colors by mixing certain colors of the color wheel. For example, red and blue to made purple. Then to add a tint I added white to the color and to make a shade add black to that color. I repeated this step several times to complete my color wheel. One thing I liked about my project was how I put a black line around the color wheel to make the color wheel stand out. One thing I would change is add more color to empathize on the color wheel.

Chris Hondros

1. The definition of photography the art or practice of taking and processing

   photographs. Photographers put there life at risk everyday,By taking pictures in dangerous places. This made 

   Chris Hondros  memorable. Chris Hondros is a photographer made a big impact in the world, and had a short but great career.

   
   

     Chris Hondros was born March 14,1970 he won an award winning photojournalist with Getty Images who covered every major conflict since the late 1990s. His work took him to dangerous environments throughout Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia.

     

    Chris Hondros pictures that impacted people by the angles and him taking it up  close. He also took portraits of people. The pictures he took were very graphic pictures in war zones. In January 2005 Hondros took pictures detailing the shooting of an Iraqi family by U.S. troops, they were published extensively and garnered worldwide acclaim and criticism.

     

   Chris Hondros has a big impact in the world. Sadly, chris Hondros journey ended on April 20, 2011 in an assignment in misratah, Libya. His pictures were impacting and has message through the pictures he took.

Scary Story Artist Statement

An infection that has started in Africa has made an emergency broadcast all over the country. This is officially the beginning of a worldwide plague . The first infected human was accidentally let go as a patient from the university of blahblah and has made their way half across the country infected thousands and thousands of citizens every hour. The plague is air-born and extremely contagious. It is recommended to not share any hygiene products or anything that can contain another persons DNA. It is not determined whether there is a cure for this disease but if you are concerned about this please keep yourself, your children, and your loved ones QUARANTINED.

Our first interview is with three of the first quarantined young adults. Three females with the plague have been isolated for months in the same quarantine room. Our first question with the females was ,"how is your sanity due to the length of time being away from other humans. They're first reaction was a confused look to our reporter. Our reporters herd muffles inside the room. Moments later, one of the females stood up and in a blink of an eye she sprinted toward the reporter and was intercepted by the glass wall between her and the reporter. Blood stained the glass. Soon after, the other two females stood up and walked over to the females that was bleeding and begin attacking her flesh. Our reporters were asked to leave. We now report that the plague's most deadly side effect is cannibalism. P

In my graffiti poster I see a girl with a variety of color on her face. The color on her face stands out the most in my poster. The elements that I tended to use in this piece were color and variety . I feel like I can improve on the face and focusing more on the girl.
